On April 16, 2018, the Museo Teatrale alla Scala in Milan hosted Nuova Luce al Museo, a site-specific lighting installation conceived by Marco Filibeck in collaboration with Pierluigi Pizzi. This artistic homage to Gioachino Rossini transformed the museum’s historic architecture into a luminous scenographic canvas, blending theatrical tradition with contemporary performance.
Exploring the emotional resonance of light, the installation generated a spatial and sensory dialogue that echoed Rossini’s legacy. Through its interplay of illumination and atmosphere, Nuova Luce al Museo invited audiences to experience the museum as a living stage, where memory and innovation converge.
