More production info

In L’Heure espagnole, deceived husbands and delayed clocks form part of a well‑oiled mechanism, where the voice conveys the disorders of the mind. The second work reveals a more childlike yet dangerous world: when a capricious toddler takes animals and utensils as targets, nature comes to life to retaliate in a biting ballet. This is what happens when you refuse to do your homework… It is, in any case, the lesson in kindness that Colette sought to deliver in the libretto she wrote for Maurice Ravel.!

This special production pays tribute to the composer on the centenary of L’Enfant et les sortilèges. Make way for fantasy, make way for mystery!
